Yarek Gasiorowski and Raúl Jiménez return to Ciutat Esportiva as European Under-19 winners

Both Valencia CF graduates have been key players for Spain
Valencia CF graduates Yarek Gasiorowski and Raúl Jiménez have arrived at the Ciutat Esportiva de Paterna after winning the European Under-19 Championship with the Spanish national team.
The Spanish team beat France in the final (2-0) and Italy (0-1) in the semi-finals of the championship, after finishing second in group B with 5 points after a win (against Denmark) and two draws (Turkey and France).

Great performance from the Valencia CF players
Both Valencia CF defender Yarek Gasiorowski and VCF Academy goalkeeper Raúl Jiménez have been two of the mainstays for José Lana's side. Both players have been permanent fixture starters in all the matches (5) played by the Spanish team in this U19 European Championship.
On the one hand, Yarek (2005) has extended his huge goalscoring record with the Under-19s, scoring a goal against Turkey. With 6 goals, he is the player who has scored the highest number of goals in his appearances with the Spanish U-19 team and the one who has played the most games (28). At the end of the tournament, Yarek was included in the Best XI.
On the other hand, Raúl Jiménez (2006) arrived at this European Championship, his first call-up with the U-19 team and after participating in the U-17 World Cup in Indonesia. Along with Yarek, he is one of the permanent fixtures in the squad. He has been the goalkeeper who has conceded the fewest goals (4) in group B of this final stage of the tournament.
